Training settlement Jakub VILLAGE

The rural settlement JAKUB VILLAGE is a set of various simulators designated for training as well as for medical, psychological and pedagogical treatment focused either on individuals or small groups in combat, counter-terrorist, peacemaking or rescue activities.

Combat activities

• Tactical thinking, combat behaviour and coordination in battle
• Combat, radiological, chemical and engineering reconnaissance
• Different approaching tactics and various combat activities
• Organisation of settlement defence – digging trenches and foxholes, construction of barricades and bunkers, creating shooting sectors as well as command and communication posts
• Use of weapons and grenades in combat
• Mine destroying, chemical and radiological cleansing
• Taking captives and their interrogation
• Day or night combat in the settlement

Counter-terrorist activities

• Strategy in the fight against terrorism, safeguarding the risk sector and its surrounding area
• Terrain and transport means reconnaissance
• Security checks on roads in the settlement
• Guard patrolling
• Arrest and escort of suspicious-looking characters
• Release of hostages
• Armed combat against terrorist in the settlement
• Armed combat against terrorists in various transport means
• Drug fighting activities within the settlement perimeter
• Weapons and explosives search and their handling

Peacemaking activities

• Command, control, organization and duty at the peacemaking posts
• Check and observation of post activities
• Negotiating, patrolling and escorting
• Maintenance of population resistance and ethnic clashes
• Reconnaissance and tackling the landmine danger
• Behaviour in captivity
• Humanitarian aid provision
• Search of illicit goods and their handling

Medical and rescue activities

• Observation and evaluation of crisis situations in the settlement and its surroundings during fire, ecological and natural catastrophes or traffic, train and plane accidents
• Search of endangered persons – rescue, first aid and transport
• Liquidation of consequences of disasters
• Activities with safeguard dogs
• Construction of field medical posts and provisional field hospitals
• Strengthening of buildings
• Maintenance of emergency medical care during combat
• Verification of medical and rescue techniques, methods and procedure
• Coordination of components of integrated rescue system
